excursions IBA buildings

excursion to buildings of John Hejduk, Raimund Abraham and Herman Hertzberger

July 14th, 2012, 2pm

Because the number of participants is restricted, we kindly as for an immediate response.

meeting point is Besselpark in between U-Bahnhof Kochstraße (U7)and U-Bahnhof Hallesches Tor (U7, U1, busses).
First we'll visit the John Hejduk tower and wings on Besselstraße, than we'll visit his gatehouse in Friedrichstraße 234, after that we follow the street to the house of Raimund Abraham and than go to the LiMa of Herman Hertzberger. All the walks will take 5 minutes.

All buildings were built for IBA as sozialer Wohnungsbau. We'll have access to the Hertzberger building. To the Hejduk tower we'll have the unique chance to enter a flat high up in the tower.
