A walk through the Friedrichstadt, a traditional urban area destroyed in Nazi times and after long neglection site of the International Building Exhibition IBA in the 80s. We'll see the John Hejduk tower and wings on Besselstraße, his gatehouse in Friedrichstraße 234, buildings of Erich Mendelsohn, Raimund Abraham, Daniel Libeskind, Herman Hertzberger, Hans Scharoun and Werner Düttmann.

Most buildings were built for IBA as sozialer Wohnungsbau which is the main focus of the tour. We'll have access to the Hertzberger building.
