Memory, memorials, images
by Sven Eggers

How to remember what isn't own experience but for what we have the urge that it gets remembered? What, if this is not imaginable? Or too tough to cope with? What do we show? When and how do memorials work? How memorials have influence on us? Does remembrance obstruct an understanding? Is forgetting necessary? Which images we have in Kuldiga and where do they come from? Do relics even serve the shoa?
Which role does memory play at all?
“Never fascism again” - but how?

Was zeigen wir?
